“The whole world is a theater of God’s goodness, wisdom, justice, and power, but the church is the orchestra—the most conspicuous part of it.”

— John Calvin

Fellowship at Peapack Reformed Church

The Peapack Reformed Church family enjoys many occasions of fellowship.
Join us for the following events as we come together and build a community of faith and connection.

Church Ministries

Baptism

Obeying the word of Jesus and confident of his promises, we baptize those whom God has called. In baptism, God claims us and seals us to show that we belong to God. God frees us from sin and death, uniting us with Jesus Christ in his death and resurrection. By water and the Holy Spirit, we are made members of his church, the body of Christ, and joined to Christ’s ministry of love, peace, and justice. The Sacrament of Baptism for infants, children, and adults is celebrated as part of the regular worship service as the occasion arises.

Marriage

Peapack Reformed Church welcomes interested couples to be married in our sanctuary. Premarital counseling is available for those who are interested.

Funerals

For a Christian, the funeral or memorial service is a service of witness to the resurrection. It is a thanksgiving for life and a celebration of the particular life of an individual. The order of worship follows the Reformed liturgy led by the pastor. Family members and friends, including other pastors, may participate as well.

Membership

Peapack Reformed Church welcomes any and all who seek to know, to love, and to follow Jesus to join our membership. Core values of membership at PRC are a deep love for Jesus, a faithful spirit, generous soul, and a missional heart.

Twice a year the elders and pastor lead an orientation class for prospective members.  Following a regular worship service, we gather to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We will discuss the history of the Reformation, the history of the RCA, our church’s history, our theological identity, what membership entails, and ways you can get involved.  If you are interested in becoming a member, be sure to join us for our next membership class.

For more information about membership, email pastor@peapackreformed.org.

Use of Church Facilities

The Peapack Reformed Church opens its doors to the community by making its facilities available for large gatherings, including regular meetings of certain community service organizations such as AA or Scout troops, instrumental and voice recitals, drama productions, concerts, and art shows.
